Olex wishes to advise its customers of forthcoming revisions to our terms and conditions, in relation to service charges.
(a) Cutting Service Fee
On 1 October 2005, Olex introduced a cutting fee of $25 + GST for each cable cut. This fee was established to recover both the labour cost involved in the cutting activity together with the residual waste generated. Whilst we have maintained the level of this fee since it was introduced, the increase in our, and associated costs, necessitates that we pass on some of the costs we incur as a result of providing this service.
As a consequence, Cutting Service Fee will increase in two stages:
From 1 September 2009, all Olex quotations will include a reference to inform our customers that the cutting charge fee will increase. The new charge will be applicable for cable deliveries after 1 October 2009. All quotes issued prior to 1 September 2009 will be honoured under the terms and conditions applicable to that quote.
(b) After Hours Service
In response to increasing demand from the market, Olex have decided to offer an ongoing after hours service for emergency supply of cable. This after hours service will be available 24/7 across all warehouses outside of standard operating hours.
After hours service consists of any pick up or organised delivery required outside the hours of 7am to 7pm.
The fee for the after hours service will be as follows:
- $500 call out fee (this includes the first hour of service)
- $100 per hour after the first hour.
