Olex is one of the largest cable manufacturers in the region. With more than 60 years experience, Olex has been a key supplier to many organisations in the Pacific. As the largest, locally owned, cable company in the Pacific, Olex has been very active in the development of new cable designs in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. Cable development is a major component of Olex's strength which is further demonstrated by our active involvement in the introduction of new Australian and New Zealand standards.

Mr David McNamara has been with Olex since 1976 and as our Regional Manager for the Pacific is very well known throughout the region. As such he has contributed to development of the electrical industry in the Pacific and the sharing of knowledge on cables in the region.
